Background Info

Victoria is a fourth-year PhD candidate in the clinical science program at VT. She attended college at the University of Texas at Austin, where she studied psychology and English. After graduation, Victoria spent two years as a research coordinator at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston where she researched treatment methods in children with developmental disorders. She is graduate student clinician for the Psychological Services Center, Child Study Center, and the Virginia Tech Autism Clinic providing a range of therapy  and assessments for all ages. She partners with Hokie Wellness for a neurodiversity support group. She has externship experience at Cook Counseling Center where she served student populations and Carilion Children's Pediatric Medicine where she serves children and their families. Victoria is interested in research to increase access to care for assessments and therapy. Currently she is working on her dissertation using Collaborative & Proactive Solutions with autistic children in rural SW Virginia. In her free time, Victoria can be found looking for a new recipe to try and a new hobby to get into.
